Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper beverage service standards including cocktail preparation and wine knowledge Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other processing tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and inventory management as needed Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to handle guest relations professionally Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus; spirits and wine knowledge highly desirable Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or sanitation training preferred; experience with food industry standards is essential Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests feel valued!
