Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Process all sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Assist with food preparation, food safety practices, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment Manage guest seating arrangements as a host or hostess, ensuring smooth flow of service and optimal table utilization Serve beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and knowledge of drink service protocols Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold high sanitation standards Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality roles such as server, cashier, host/hostess, or bartender is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or beverage knowledge such as cocktail or spirits expertise is a plus Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required Join us to bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every guest interaction!
