Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with food handling and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean dining environment Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, and process payments using POS systems Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; but not required. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill calculations .
