Duties Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled. Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and standards. Process cash and credit card transactions smoothly using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times. Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or food pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Assist with food service when needed, including bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation or plating. Provide excellent guest relations by engaging with patrons, answering questions about drinks or menu items, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in food or beverage service, especially in bars, nightclubs, or fine dining settings. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong cocktail skills along with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine pairing enhances your effectiveness. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude. Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is preferred but not required. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating a welcoming environment.
