Server at Taste of Ethiopia Southfield, MI Love meeting people and learning about new cultures? Come join our family. Since 2005, Taste of Ethiopia has been sharing the flavors of Ethiopia with metro Detroit. We're looking for a friendly, curious server who enjoys helping guests discover something new. Many of our guests are trying Ethiopian food for the first time. You'll be their guide, explaining our dishes, how injera works, and why eating with your hands is part of the fun. What you'll do Welcome guests warmly and make them feel at home Explain our menu, ingredients, and traditions in a fun, approachable way Answer questions about spice levels, vegetarian and vegan options, and dietary needs Recommend dishes based on each guest's tastes Build lasting relationships with our regulars Take orders and serve food and drinks with care Who we're looking for Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely curious about other cultures Comfortable talking with guests and answering questions Eager to learn about Ethiopian food and culture (no experience with Ethiopian cuisine needed, we'll teach you!) Dependable, positive, and a great team player Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required

Hours Monday-Thursday:

3:00-9:30

PM Friday-Saturday:

12:00-9:30 PM Closed Sundays Pay a minimum hour pay plus tips, with tips making up the majority of earnings. Servers who connect with guests do very well here.

Expected hours:

26.0 - 52.0 per week
