Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely service. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours. Assist with food handling, beverage service, and supporting other team members as needed in a lively restaurant or nightclub setting. Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Support sanitation practices by following proper food safety guidelines during food preparation and serving. Experience Proven experience as a server in a restaurant or food industry environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Demonstrated ability in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; experience handling cash is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices.
