Overview The Pretty Penny Steakhouse is seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server/Waiter to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess strong food service skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of Downtown Traverse City, providing top-tier customer service at the Premier Steakhouse in Downtown Traverse City. Previous high end/steakhouse restaurant serving experience is required. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Square for Restaurants POS Upsell menu items and features to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables as needed Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any concerns promptly Follow sanitation guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and serving Requirements Previous experience in restaurants, serving, including fine dining Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and managing transactions accurately Hospitality background with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay:

$13.48 - $35.00 per hour
