Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Duties Greet and seat guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
