Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including appetizers, shakes , and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tables efficiently Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced restaurant .
