Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic full-time Cook/Server to join our dynamic culinary team in our Assisted Living/Memory Care facility. Every other weekend required. Only experienced cooks need apply. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that delight our residents and guests and meet the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your passion for food, attention to detail, and culinary expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to support diverse dietary needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal preparation Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation, and temperature controls Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and sanitation standards Experience in fine dining or catering environments enhances your versatility Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills to thrive in a busy kitchen setting.
