Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, wine pairings, and restaurant policies to provide expert recommendations Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage waitlists effectively Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations in food preparation and service Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards in the food industry Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus but not required; a passion for food industry knowledge is valued highly Join us if you're ready to bring energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to our lively dining environment.
