We are looking for dependable, energetic, and hard-working servers to join our front-of-house family. We are a high tip establishment, and as such, we rely upon our servers to be dependable and always available during the availability hours they themselves set. We are a fun place to work and all of our staff support each other. We also require our servers to always complete all assigned cleaning tasks assigned to them via our 7-Shifts scheduling app. Your energy and professionalism should create memorable dining moments for every guest, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using our Toast Tables app. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Toast POS. This is an easy system to learn and we will train. We utilize Toast Go handhelds. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments using the Toast POS systems. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items to elevate guest satisfaction. Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and serving processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly. Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address concerns proactively, and promote repeat business. Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, yet will also train those with demonstrated customer service experience in other areas. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest interactions. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards required for food handling roles. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
