In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious frozen beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and efficiently handle retail sales transactions. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of frozen beverages and ice cream with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Operate POS systems such as SQUARE to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cashing out customers, manage cash handling procedures, and perform basic math calculations for transactions. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations. Manage retail sales transactions smoothly, balancing registers at shift end and reconciling cash drawers. Assist in beverage preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall operations during busy periods. Skills Proven experience as a barista. Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems like Toast. Excellent customer service abilities, with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and food industry standards. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Previous retail sales experience with an understanding of retail sales transactions in a fast-paced environment.
