Your energy and organization will help foster a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise while delivering top-tier guest relations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Manage guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and menu offerings. Support food service operations by assisting with guest needs, ensuring food safety standards are upheld, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Utilize POS systems to process orders accurately and handle guest payments efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices. Previous experience in restaurant environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding guest services and foster guest relations through attentive service and friendly demeanor.
