Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance guest choices Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest relations Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing bills confidently Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality shines!
