Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at . As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your friendly and attentive service will contribute to creating a positive and memorable dining atmosphere.Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen, such as assembling salads or desserts
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining tables, counters, and serving stations
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and strive to resolve issues promptly
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the culinary or restaurant industry is preferred
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, kitchen staff, and fellow team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
