As a server, you'll be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests while also helping keep the restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on, team-oriented position. Servers are expected to help with serving, bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning, restocking, opening and closing duties, and general restaurant upkeep . We're looking for team members who are willing to help wherever needed and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming experience for every guest. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system Serve food, cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently Answer questions about the menu and make food and beverage recommendations Check on guests throughout their meal and respond promptly to requests Upsell appetizers, beverages, desserts, and other menu items when appropriate Process cash and credit card payments accurately Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly Clear, bus, clean, sanitize, and reset tables between guests Wash dishes, glasses, silverware, serving utensils, and other restaurant items as needed Keep the dining room, server stations, dish area, and other work areas clean and organized Sweep and mop floors and wipe down tables, counters, chairs, and other surfaces Empty trash and replace trash liners as needed Restock silverware, glasses, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other supplies Help maintain clean and organized restrooms as assigned Complete opening, throughout-the-shift, and closing cleaning duties Help prepare the restaurant for the next shift or business day Assist other servers, kitchen staff, and team members during busy periods Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when necessary Follow food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol-service requirements Perform other restaurant duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous restaurant, serving, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred Full-service restaurant experience is a plus Strong customer-service and communication skills Friendly, respectful, professional, and welcoming attitude Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Able to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts Willing to clean, wash dishes, bus tables, restock, and assist wherever needed Able to work independently and as part of a team POS and cash-handling experience preferred, but training can be provided Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is a plus Must follow food safety and sanitation procedures Must meet applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages Must be available for scheduled evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires employees to be on their feet for extended periods. Servers must be able to walk, bend, reach, carry dishes and trays, move restaurant supplies, and perform regular cleaning duties throughout their shift.
