Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while handling cash accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables and assist with food handling as needed. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to elevate the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues quickly. Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address concerns proactively, and ensure their overall satisfaction. Support bar service by preparing drinks with expertise in spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage presentation. Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings enhances your ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is desirable. Demonstrated skills in upselling, sales transaction processing, and guest relations are essential for success. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
