This energetic position combines customer service, efficient food handling, and POS operations to ensure smooth service flow. You'll be the friendly face greeting guests at the register and the swift runner delivering delicious food from kitchen to table. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, retail transactions, and team collaboration. Responsibilities Greet customers with a positive attitude and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipt issuance. Prepare simple food items when needed, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation protocols are followed. Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to guests' tables or designated areas, maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities by recommending popular or complementary items. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, dining area, and food pickup zones, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure quick service times. Manage time effectively during peak hours to keep service flowing smoothly while providing excellent customer service. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS preferred. Experience in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles will be advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail transactions. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards in a restaurant or café setting.
