Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required by end of probationary period; experience working with children, preferred; experience working in a school setting, preferred. Summary of Duties for A11 positions: Include but are not limited to: Panning food items and serving food in proper portions and quantities, Must be able to follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. Must be able to operate the dishwasher effectively, efficiently with sanitation in mind. Prepare food as needed and perform clean-up tasks on a rotation. May be called upon to effectively and efficiently operate the POS register during meal service and must be able to provide excellent customer service to our students. Clean food service areas and cafeteria areas, monitor students in lunch line or lunchroom as needed, duties include wiping tables and monitoring student behavior with appropriate discipline techniques and referring student behavior to licensed staff in the cafeteria. All A11 positions may be called upon to help in kitchen, lunch line, food storage areas, according to the daily needs of lunchroom as determined by Kitchen Manager; and therefore must be able to operate a POS, dishwasher, food service equipment, clean food service areas, equipment, and utensils; abide by all sanitation standards; must have the ability to perform kitchen work which includes standing, reaching, turning, lifting, as well as repetitive motions involved in panning, serving, and dish room; and lifting 10# continuously and additional intermittently, and occasionally up to 50# when restocking milk coolers. Other duties as assigned. This position will be called upon to work summer school; and if so, summer school is on a greysheet for extra time.
