Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a warm environment where guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer relations, and hospitality operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables to prepare for new guests Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods, adhering to food safety standards Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bistros Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Proven ability in upselling menu items and enhancing guest relations through attentive service Experience with cashiering, basic math skills for cash handling, and POS transactions Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations 1 year experience Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
