Position Summary:
The University Club of St. Paul is seeking personable, professional, and service-oriented Servers to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you will provide exceptional dining experiences to members and guests in a historic, private club setting. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to all members and guests Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service throughout their dining experience Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service Follow all club and health department protocols for food safety and sanitation Assist with events, banquets, and private dining functions as needed Uphold the standards and traditions of the University Club of St.
Paul Qualifications:
Previous serving experience preferred, especially in fine dining or private club environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in the state of Minnesota Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Northstar) is a plus Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Why Join the University Club of St. Paul?
