Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait lists efficiently to minimize wait times Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions with enthusiasm Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately Maintain cleanliness of host stations and dining areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation Manage reservations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking records Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support the team during busy hours by coordinating seating arrangements and managing guest flow seamlessly Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong food service knowledge with an understanding of restaurant operations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in guest relations Outstanding phone etiquette and guest interaction skills to foster positive relationships Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating welcoming atmospheres.
