The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and guest relations, ensuring that every guest experiences a memorable and seamless dining experience. The Banquet Server will be responsible for setting up banquet spaces, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout each event. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and professionally according to event specifications. Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, utensils, glassware, and other necessary items in preparation for events. Clear tables promptly after service, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Assist with food handling and food safety procedures to uphold health standards. Support catering operations by assisting with food preparation, replenishing supplies, and ensuring timely service. Engage with guests courteously to address inquiries or special requests related to menu options or event details. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation from setup to breakdown. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation. Contribute positively to team efforts by demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, and enthusiasm. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Proven banquet or catering experience demonstrating ability to serve large groups efficiently. Familiarity with culinary practices, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations. Strong background in guest services, customer relations, or restaurant experience. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage service standards. Experience working in hotel settings or similar hospitality venues is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent communication skills coupled with a professional demeanor focused on guest satisfaction.
