Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Apply advanced techniques such as physiology-based massage, pain management strategies, and occupational health practices to optimize results. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment recommendations, and injury prevention techniques. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education.
