Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques Process cash transactions and sales accurately while managing multiple tables or parties in a busy setting Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed, demonstrating versatility in food handling and hospitality operations. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
