Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as an Expeditor and Food Runner, where your energy and organizational skills will be essential in delivering a seamless dining experience. In this role, you will act as the vital link between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that orders are prepared accurately, promptly, and presented beautifully to our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for diners while supporting a fast-paced, energetic restaurant environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and grow within a vibrant culinary setting. Duties Expedite food orders by coordinating between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of dishes. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet presentation standards. Deliver food swiftly and accurately from the kitchen to tables, maintaining quality and temperature. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding order modifications, special requests, or delays. Support food safety and handling protocols to uphold hygiene standards during service. Bus tables and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to maintain an inviting environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly preferred. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Knowledge of food preparation, expediting processes, and food safety standards. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork. In addition to the hourly rate, this position is included in the tip pool.
