Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Experience in fine dining or food industry settings is preferred, along with proficiency in POS systems. Strong communication skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to upsell menu items are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety protocols Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and cleaning to maintain a clean dining environment Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus Familiarity with POS systems Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused attitude Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to upsell menu items effectively Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Join our team to deliver outstanding service in an energetic setting where your hospitality skills will shine!
