Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols are followed Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; experience with Food industry software is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not mandatory Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; familiarity with bussing and guest services enhances performance Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us to deliver outstanding service that leaves a lasting impression!
