Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations and seat guests efficiently in a fine dining or nightclub atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such SQUARE ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a pristine dining environment in accordance with food safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, managing special requests, and ensuring guest relations are positive throughout their visit Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or plating when needed, demonstrating versatility in food industry tasks Skills Proven experience in food service roles such as server, host/host, or bartender within fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including SQUARE Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
