This position supports banquet functions including weddings, corporate meetings, social events, receptions, and special catered events while maintaining Tribute Portfolio and Marriott service standards. Banquet Servers are responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events while ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service throughout each event. Essential Job Functions Provide exceptional guest service during banquet and catered events Set banquet rooms according to event orders and specifications Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages professionally and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events Refill beverages, clear tables, and respond promptly to guest requests Assist with banquet room breakdown and resetting furniture/equipment Communicate effectively with kitchen, banquet leadership, and fellow associates Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards Always maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor Support other Food & Beverage operations as business demands require Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Strong communication and teamwork skills Guest-focused attitude with a commitment to hospitality excellence Benefits & Perks Eligible associates may have access to: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Marriott hotel discounts worldwide Paid Time Off for eligible full-time associates Career growth opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment
