Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system or OpenTable. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the cash register. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu changes, promotions, and restaurant policies to provide informed service. Requirements Previous experience as a Server is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Familiarity with Sky Harbor POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Must be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds.
