Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times Assist hosts and hostesses with seating arrangements and waitlist management using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring guest needs are met swiftly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about reservations, wait times, and menu options Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and guest relations throughout service hours Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment with strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and guest interaction Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for handling waitlist calculations and billing support when needed Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being Previous food service experience or hotel industry background is a plus for understanding guest needs and service excellence Embark on a rewarding career where your hospitality talents shine!
