Server/Expo

Job Summary :

We are looking for energetic, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our team as a Server and Expo in a fast-paced restaurant and event center environment. This dual-role position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently while providing outstanding guest service during both regular dining hours and special catering events.

Responsibilities :

Server Duties :

Greet guest promptly with a friendly and professional attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system Deliver the food and drinks in a timely manner Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients or preparation Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing concerns Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Complete front-of-house cleaning duties efficiently Expo (Expeditor)

Duties:

Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff Ensure all orders are accurate, complete, and presented properly before leaving the kitchen Organize and prioritize orders during high-volume periods Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow Garnish and plate food as needed according to presentation standards Assist in maintaining a clean and organized expo line Assist with basic food prep including chopping, slicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients according to kitchen standards Stock and organize prep stations with necessary ingredients and supplies before and during service

Event Center Responsibilities:

Assist with setup and breakdown of events (tables, chairs, linens, and decor) Provide attentive service during events Adapt to varying event styles and guest needs Work collaboratively with the event coordinator and team members

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred (but not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible availability which could include nights and weekends Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods Positive attitude and strong work ethic
