Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt delivery Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process cash and card transactions smoothly, including handling tips, receipts, and change with precision Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and resolve any guest concerns promptly Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is beneficial Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving, taking orders, and processing transactions Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training; understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry is essential Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or boxes, and perform cleaning duties as needed Embark on an exciting journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
