This position is responsible for providing exceptional service during banquets, weddings, tournaments, member events, and other special functions. The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up event spaces, serving food and beverages, and ensuring members and guests receive attentive and professional service throughout all banquet and event functions. Essential Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms, dining areas, buffets, and event spaces according to event specifications Provide friendly, professional, and attentive food and beverage service to members and guests Serve plated meals, buffet items, beverages, and hors d'oeuvres in an efficient and professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and resetting spaces for future functions Work collaboratively with banquet, culinary, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure successful event execution Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and needs Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety procedures Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work as part of a team and maintain professionalism during events Professional appearance and positive attitude Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching Ability to safely lift and carry trays, tables, chairs, and banquet supplies up to 40 pounds
