Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or special menu recommendations Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring timely service in a fine dining or nightclub setting Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in busy settings while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; understanding of sanitation standards is essential Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for food industry trends encouraged Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in serving duties Embark on an exciting career where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
