Job Description
Primary function of the server position is to accurately and efficiently take food and beverage orders and delivers these items in a timely manner. Food and wine knowledge is extremely important. Greet and communicate with the guests in a friendly, courteous manner and offer a beverage within a two minute time frame; Explain any special offerings from the chef, menu additions or deletions; Accurately operate the POS system; Practice proper table maintenance, removing used plates and utensils, keeping table free of debris; Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room; Accurately close out the check with the bartender; Opening and side work is required; Preparation is a key ingredient in being able to deliver quality service; Other reasonable duties as assigned.
