Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including food prep stations, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage cash register transactions efficiently, providing correct change and processing various payment methods. Assist with food delivery to customers or table service when required, supporting overall restaurant operations. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service environments within restaurants or cafés. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for seamless order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
