Job Overview Join our dedicated culinary team as a Server in our Assisted Living community, where compassion meets excellence in food service. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents by providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a warm and welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to combine culinary skills with genuine care, making a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents. Responsibilities Serve meals and beverages to residents with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort. Assist with food presentation, plating, and timely delivery of meals according to dietary specifications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces. Support food preparation activities under the supervision of culinary staff, including portioning and basic food handling tasks. Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment for residents. Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions for residents. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident requests promptly and courteously, fostering a positive dining experience. Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of food production, meal service, and sanitation practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy meal periods. Experience with food handling, serving, cleaning, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food safety standards is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward residents' needs. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
