About the
Role:
The Beverage Server Swing Shift plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for serving a variety of beverages to guests, ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, the Beverage Server will engage with customers, providing recommendations and addressing any inquiries they may have. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes significantly to the overall satisfaction of our guests and the reputation of our establishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Certification in responsible beverage service.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and serving stations. Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
Skills:
Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with guests and providing excellent service. The ability to multitask is crucial, as Beverage Servers must manage multiple orders and customer requests simultaneously. Attention to detail is important for accurately processing orders and ensuring the quality of beverages served. Customer service skills will be utilized daily to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any guest concerns. Additionally, knowledge of beverage preparation techniques will enhance the server's ability to make recommendations and provide a memorable experience for guests.
