Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide informed recommendations. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and order calculations. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed. Culinary knowledge or experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
