Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, quality, and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash handling duties responsibly Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, food safety protocols, and food preparation details Ensure proper sanitation and food handling practices are followed in compliance with health regulations Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Build strong guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Support opening or closing duties as needed to uphold restaurant standards of cleanliness and organization Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques including drink service standards Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Ability to maintain sanitation standards and adhere to food safety regulations at all times Experience with food industry practices such as food handling, food preparation support, bussing, and sanitation procedures Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills; host/hostess experience is beneficial Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required in a dynamic restaurant environment Join us to deliver exceptional dining experiences while advancing your career in the vibrant world of hospitality!
