Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring seamless service, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and supporting our servers to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable moments that keep guests coming back. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean, organized dining area Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests' tables Support food presentation and ensure dishes are served at the correct temperature and quality standards Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with food safety standards Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and glassware to ensure smooth service flow Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay guest orders or special requests Assist with setup for special events or banquet functions when needed, providing excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety protocols, and basic kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and guests Prior banquet or hotel experience can be advantageous for supporting larger events or special occasions Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service and hospitality standards Knowledge of food preparation, cooking basics, or culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to grow are most important Join us as a Busser/Food Runner and become an integral part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences through teamwork, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
