Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where you'll be at the heart of creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and efficient transaction handling. This role combines the vibrant energy of food and beverage service with the precision of cash management, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will drive the success of our establishment while providing a lively and welcoming environment for both guests and team members. Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their dining experience Serve food and drinks promptly Operate POS systems such as Toast for order entry, sales transactions, and processing payments efficiently Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction with their selections Handle cash transactions accurately, process credit card payments, and give correct change in a fast-paced environment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, managing special requests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak hours or special events such as singo nights or private parties Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in food handling environments Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue Hospitality background with excellent guest relations skills; previous host/hostess or cashier roles are beneficial Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment!
