Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Legal Process Server , where your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure the smooth delivery of legal documents in Flathead and surrounding counties. In this vital role, you will be responsible for serving legal papers promptly and accurately while maintaining professionalism at all times. Your proactive attitude will help facilitate the legal process and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Duties Effectively locate and serve legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, complaints, and other court papers to individuals or entities involved in legal proceedings Follow strict protocols to ensure proper service according to jurisdictional requirements Maintain detailed records of all served documents, including dates, times, locations, and recipient details Manage workflow with assistance from the main office in Missoula, MT. Use company provided transportation and tools of the trade to deliver documents across designated areas efficiently Communicate professionally with main office staff and occasionally clients and court personnel regarding service status or issues encountered during delivery Conduct follow-up visits if initial service attempts are unsuccessful to ensure completion of process Skills Proven experience as a courier or in a role requiring reliable transportation and punctuality Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and maintain accurate filing records Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with diverse individuals and teams Knowledge of legal procedures related to document serving and filing processes is a plus Ability to navigate local areas efficiently using maps or GPS technology Detail-oriented mindset with high accuracy in record keeping and reporting Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Must have or be able to obtain a MT process server registration. Pursuant to MCA 25-1-1102, must meet requirements: a US citizen, a Montana resident for at least one year immediately preceding making application, and no felony convictions. The Process Server application requires a FBI and Montana Department of Justice criminal fingerprint background check. Company assists applicant to complete the application and pays all the fees required.
