Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with POS systems and a passion for the food industry are highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food service, and customer relations within a fine dining or casual setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods Experience in food handling, sanitation, and basic math for cash handling or cashiering tasks Background in food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus but not required Prior host/host experience or serving roles that involve guest relations will be advantageous This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences.
