Famous Toastery is looking for team members who excel at working together to deliver exceptional customer service and make us Famous. As a server, you'll provide top-notch table service to our patrons, ensuring they have a delightful dining experience. Our unique service model means that every server is your server, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Duties/Responsibilities Greet customers as they are seated, ensuring the table is clean and set with utensils, napkins, and other essentials. Distribute menus and present daily specials. Answer questions regarding the menu. Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen. Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers. Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen. Collect plates and clear the table as customers finish their meals. Prepare customers' checks and collect payments. Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Well-organized with the ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately. Ability to operate point-of-sale systems. Education And Experience Must be at least eighteen years old. Previous experience as a server preferred. Must successfully complete the restaurant's training course. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
