Duties Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Serve food and beverages—including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks—following proper presentation and safety standards. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Proven ability in food handling, beverage service, and food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage pairings to assist guests effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest relations focus. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling procedures. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus for adapting to diverse service styles.
