Responsibilities Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to designated tables, ensuring timely delivery. Assist with food presentation and plating as directed by kitchen staff to maintain quality standards. Clear used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables efficiently, supporting overall cleanliness and guest comfort. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including wiping down surfaces and organizing supplies. Support bussing efforts by removing trash and resetting tables for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests. Follow food safety protocols during handling and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) using safe lifting practices. Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a busy setting. A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills in in-person guest interactions.
